SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Saint Raphael Youth Group is in the process of forming a Youth Advisory Board. The Youth Advisory Board is made up of High School Students grades 9-12.  Are you interested in youth ministry?  Do you like planning events?  Do you like working with a team to accomplish goals?  If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then our Youth Advisory Board maybe for you.  If you are interested please contact:

Our mission is to reach youth through evangelization, teach them through catechesis and form them through service, thereby empowering them to serve others in their; parish, community, and world. We do this by reaching out to our youth (grades 7-12) in a variety of ways:

  1. Afternoon prayer sessions
  2. Themed evening gatherings and community building events
  3. Service projects with our church community and the greater Louisville area
  4. Mentoring programs to help create prayer leaders for our Masses
  5. Reaching out with newsletters and e-mail prayer reflections
  6. Inviting them to attend broader church events such as Archdiocesan retreats and National Youth Conferences

 Saint Raphael Youth Ministry is currently planning mission trips for both Junior and Senior high.  If you are interested in traveling, helping others, and working with a team of other youth then contact: Nick Cummins, Coordinator of Youth Ministry, at 458-2500.

Saint Raphael Youth Ministry has plenty of events for the summer! Please continue to check the Youth Ministry calendar for updates on Youth Ministry activities for Summer 2010.  Make plans to attend our weekly youth sessions and/or our monthly service events.
